What do lightsaber fights and application security have in common?

THEY’RE AWESOME, THAT’S WHAT

Meet other AppSec practitioners, learn some stage combat lightsaber moves from a legit stunt choreographer, and enjoy snacks and drinks on us.

Here’s what the evening looks like:
6:00pm

Check in and choose your training saber - these are the real deal, complete with lights, sound, and lots of colors to choose from!

6:30pm

We’ll spend an hour with Christopher Barbeau, professional stunt trainer and owner of Ring of Steel. Whether you want to learn some cool moves or just learn what happens behind the scenes on a movie set, this workshop is incredibly fun.

8:00pm

Take the coolest profile photo you’ll ever have with the saber of your choice.

8:30pm

Relax and mingle with fellow Star Wars and AppSec fans while enjoying refreshing drinks and tasty light bites. Share your new skills and epic moments from the workshop!

9:00pm

Leave with new friends and awesome swag (you know, “for your kids”).

No CISOs allowed!

We love our CISO friends, but why should they get to have all the fun? This event series is specifically for active practitioners to get together, network, and have fun.

While this event is invite-only, we’d love to give you a +1 to invite a colleague or industry friend.

"Your events  in NYC were nothing short of spectacular. The energy in that room was palpable. It’s rare to see that level of intensity, and it’s exactly what this field needs right now."
